Exam Anxiety

Description:
A psychologist was interested in the effects of exam stress on exam performance. She devised and validated a questionnaire to assess state anxiety relating to exams (called the Exam Anxiety Questionnaire, or EAQ). Using this scale, anxiety was measured before an exam (Anxiety) and set in relation with exam performance (Exam), and time used for revising the exam (Revise). If revision time is related to both exam anxiety and exam performance, then to get a measure of the unique relationship between exam anxiety and exam performance we need to account for revision time.
